I have a problem with my 08 fx nytro surging at around 108 km hour and will not accelarate past 9400 rpm. It feels like its runing out of fuel or something any help would be appreciated.

9400 I think is where the rev limiter kicks in. Sounds like a clutch problem.

Yes you are bouncing off the rev limiter, you need to add weight to the clutch arms to get the rpms down to 8800-8950

If you are hitting the rev limiter at 108 Km/h, I would agree that you have a serious clutch issue. This goes beyond adding weight to the arms. Are you running a clutch kit? Have you changed anything lately?
Are you familiar with clutching or do you have a buddy that is.
How is the belt, and how high does it sit in the secondary clutch?
How dirty are your clutches (never use any products to clean the faces, Only scuff with scotchbrite pads).
With the track elevated can you rotate it easily by hand?
Give some more info and people here will be glad to help.

Is your skid plate still there under the engine? Sounds like you are getting snow on your clutches and belt is slipping.
