Reposting this for those of you that don't visit that 'other' forum. I did a install of a AAEN Performance on my 08 Nytro MTX last weekend, shot some vid and did a quick edit. In the end I do some side by side comparison of stock sound -vs- AAEN. Whole install took me about 45 minutes. I left the stock plastic off, still need to mod since I made the turnout turn radically to the right so I can fit a rack and gas can on my tunnel. I'll post up some pics on this thread once I cut down the stock plastic. For now, enjoy this vid:

The AAEN pipe won't fit with all of the plastic so it has a stock look?

I think it will if you line it up centered, thats what that back T-Bracket is for. I set the turnout to crank hard to the right, and positioned the exhaust as far over as I could, so I could make room for a rack/gas can. So, I'll be cutting the right side of the stock hole out some for the turnout.
P.S. Updated the link, should work for everyone now.
Sounds like you may need to adjust your throttle cable tension. Have you experienced a very slight "miss" or "hesitation" upon a quick throttle stab?
It just sounded like it on the video. If the throttle cable tension isn't correct, it will activate the TORS system for a split second which will give you the miss or hesitation.
Pipe sounds good though!

That makes sense....I think i will look at mine while I'm at it!! Thanks!
It only took me most of last season to figure it out...
and after I paid my dealer $300 to sync the throttle bodies... AND IT DIDN'T DO SQUAT!
Check that slack!!!

I am running a Super Q exhaust and experience a slight hesitation every once in a while....could this be from throttle tension as well?

It absolutley could be! It is well worth checking, and a VERY quick fix, if it is a problem...

Right on, thanks for the tip. I just swapped out my bars for RSI race bars which are a bit skinnier than stock. That and I haven't put on grips yet. I've been toying with the throttle location and cable routing, so there's definately some fine tuning to be done. I'll keep it in mind to make sure tension is set right.

Re-routed my cable, seems really good now, but I won't really know till I'm on the trail. Come on Mother Nature!
