My 09 XTX is showing signs that it wants to stall out out when off the gas. I was boodocking in deep snow over the weekend, and wondered if snow got into hood, blocking/clogging air intake somehow. Thought it was bad gas (etanol), but I always use sea foam and/or premium here that has no ethanol in it. Sled was backfiring a lot too before this started to happen.
Sled has all stock exhaust. I have all my vents covered with frogskins to prevent as much snow as possible to getting in.....but....
Any ideas?

Mine did the same exact thing, it was an issue with the tors, I just adjusted the throttle cable and it went away

Disconnecting TORS
So...since I installed a kill switch tether, I have decided to just disconnect the TORS and use my kill tether. I have unplugged the two connectors inside the boot harness on the left side of sled (clutch side). I understand i need to unplug each of the two connectors.
My question is, do I "re plug" the two connectors to the opposite ones....or just replug one set to the opposite set, and cover the unplugged pair w tape....?

You can try this.
Find the black connector and white connector, each have only one wire coming into each end. Disconnect them.
Connect the black with the white on the side coming from the engine compartment. Leave the black and white unconnected on the side coming from the throttle.
Reassemble and RIDE. With the full knowledge you've disconnected a safety system...so respect that and accept the risk.
