My brother-in-law has a 2009 phazer RTX.. When he starts the machine and the engine is cold it starts fine. After the machine has been run for a while and he takes a break the machine will start but he needs to tap the throttle and then its fine.. He asked the dealer and they said it is normal for 4 strokes.. Is this true or is there something else.. Thanks in advance..
When you say tap is that opening the throttle a bit? Sometimes mine i open the throttle a bit. I think if you idle it a few seconds before shutting the engine off after a hard run it might start easier for him

take a look at the idle speed my 09rtx had trouble starting after it was good and warm. After it would start it was idling at 1500 i adjusted it and works good as new
