I know the upper arms are different and the rails have bolt on support plates on the SE but other than that are the rails the same? Same mount points and such?

It's funny your bringing this up, me and my father were just talking about this, because I have a Nytro FX and my dad has a Nytro RTX SE and his suspension in the back sits so much higher, the rails on the SE seem to have more to it, but other than that they look same, except the mounting bolt on the rear of skid is underneath the foot boards, where the FX is above it.

Yes they have a different tunnel that is why the mount point is different and why the SE seems to sit higher.

The se should have stronger rails with raill braces and new H arms and shocks.... and the mounting point will be different beacuse of the new tunnel design

Yes it has the rail braces that bolt on, all the upper arms are different and the tunnel is different but are you saying where the arms mount to the rails are different??

From what I recall, the SE rear skid used rail stiffeners (like mentioned) and they were placed on the inside of the skid so they were not readily visible. The rear arm is reinforced but the front arm didn't get the reinforcement it was supposed to. In the spring photos in '08, the SE front arm was reinforced like the ones on the race sleds. The rear shock was a nicer unit and the idler wheels were of a new design. Other than that, I don't think much else was different. I've not had any issues with my stock '08 rear arm but the front arm on all 121 Nytros can twist and break so reinforcing it is a good idea. Here is the post showing the reinforced front arm:

Thanks Mark but I've already got the RTX rails mounted in the sled.
THe support plates that run along the rails are the difference. You have to drill holes in the rails for the supports..
Other than that the difference are in the arms and the shoc
