Ok 09 XTX with Pilot 5.7's and bergstrom 6" triple points stock 4" on outside, shimmed and has ski savers. Sled handles marvelous on hard packed groomed trails but last night did a 55 miler in that sticky almost melee snow (groomed rail bed)sled darted and hunted like crazy, when I was on the gas sled darting and hunting seemed to go away, at 35-45 mph the sled darted and hunted as I excellerated or decelerated it got much better. Any suggestions as to what I need to change, with these symptoms I can't tell if I have too much pressure ( better as I excellerate) or not enough ski pressure (better while decelerating) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Oh by the way suspension is set to factory specs. Thanks

maybe add center shock preload and make sure your ski's are slightly toe out, maybe try taking the outside carbide off? 10 "" is alot for a 4 stroke imo.

i would toe it out first and go from there, made a big difference for me going from generally improper allignment to 1/4" toe out whole new sled. helped the tippy factor in the corners aswell

Thanks for the replies, wondering if the suspension needs to be adjusted, Can't explain why it does not hunt or dart while accelerating or decellerating. Any other thoughts?

i find every sled will dart depending on trail condition and who's been on trail with the same skis . my advice is stay on the gas
