Well i am looking for some better traction and float in deepsnow, what can i do?
Atm i have a 38mm track and when i am hillclimbing and playing around in the untuched snow i feel like my sled is almost digging down to much and losing flotation.
My idea is to change track later this year for a 51,6mm (2'') or perhaps a 44mm pref the bigger one.
What do i need to do and will it fitt? I have 9 tooth nonslip prob the Avid ones on it.
As for the front end, i got a decent price of 4000sek for a new set of C&A Pro XTX's with mounting kit and 6'' woody's from my dealer. (614USD).
I also thinking of getting a thin alu sheet from a local dude to make a tunnel blockoff kit myself.
Other mods that i shall do, Shorty mtntech plate, stars XTX kit, I shall unhook the sway bar and give it a test to.
What else could i do to make the sled more easy to handle? having a hard time making it tilt when im turning, duno how to explain this in English right now, brain jammed atm.
Riding style is open areas and hillclimbing with some soft jumps and i would love to improve sidehilling to, when i have to sidehill it atm i almost get afraid of doing it since i have been close to rolling it several times.
Some info of me if needed, 179cm long and pretty skinny, like 67kg+gear...perhaps 75 - 80 geared?

if you can get the backcountry or challanger track those will help in all mountian/hill riding.
I wouldnt even bother with just disconnecting the swaybar, get rid of it, it helps big time in swinging the snowmachine from side to side.
another thing to do is loosen up or take a little bit of air out of your front shocks. it allows your sled to feel more tippy.
loosening up your limiter strap to the last hole and lenghtening the front track shock by either tightning up the shock spring or putting more air in your shock...
do one adjustment at a time and go out and ride, if you dont like the new settings change it back and try the next. with my xtx the biggest improvement in being able to play in the powder was the Backcountry track. followed by removing the swaybar. the rest are suspension adjustments when made in small increments make large changes in the way your sled will perform.
one of the main things to remember when trying to get your snowmobile to sidehill or carve is the throttle is your friend!

A yellow pink yellow primary spring will lower engagement and helps you not spin the track as much.
2" Challenger Track is a great track.

1-3-/4"-2" track, wide skis, gear down 1 tooth, extrovert drivers, trail tank, float plate, rollover valve, and the ski-doo jerry can on the back with an exhaust turn out.

What is stock gearing on these XTX's?
1135USD for a new 2'' Challenger track here in Sweden, good price?
Tryed to find one slightly used but i found none so far.
Will it fit with 9 tooth avis non slip drivers?

21/39 is stock gearing.
I would stay away from the C&A skis. IMO they only work in really deep snow.
Get some powder pros instead. Cheaper and better for swedish conditions.

2 inch track will fit with 9 tooth extrovert drivers. But, you need to remove the tunnel protectors OR knotch the track to clear them. I would suggest removing the tunnel protectors if you never plan on running studs.

Track and skis will make a great improvement.
I put on a set of RMK Gripper skis. Wider, with a much deeper keel, they give a lot better control in the powder, and better floatation.
I also put on a 1.75" Backcountry. I did want the option of putting back on the 1.25 studded track, so I notched the track in order to clear the tunnel protectors.
I thought I had a pic loaded up of the heat exchanger, but I can't find it. The 1.75" track is a close fit, so I imagine a 2" would be really tight with 9 tooth drivers.
