Same way many people use FRAM filters on their cars because they think it is a big name brand. In reality they just advertise more and their filters are junk compared to the SuperTech filters sold at Walmart. Don't believe me, cut the two open and you will find out. Several years ago I cut open over a dozen different brand filters of the PH8 variety and the SuperTech's were the best for the price.
