1 1/8 inch of shock sag? Is this o.k. ?

I just had Pioneer do a revalve and install a big boy spring. I got a measurement of 1 1/8 in. of sag with my helmet and suit on but all other stuff I carry around on the seld. Is this o.k.? Bruce said to have 1 9/16 to 1 3/4 in of sag so I'm short. I figure with some snow build up and my suit,helmet,etc. It would get it closer. Will the sled handle badly?

No Mono expert here, but my guess is you aren't talking about a handling issue as much as ride? If that were any other kind of suspension, that much sag would be considered pretty aggressive.... Try it!

youll be fine. in fact you might wanna tighten it up some more. dont forget to include the weight of a full tank of fuel. bruce did my stuff last year. i set my sag exact and ended up tightening the preload because of shock break in and snow/ice build up. from my experience you want to set it tighter cause you add more weight to it with snow/ice build up.

you will still bottom on some of the big g-outs. but it is a guge inprovement over stock. gettin our snow today. hopin we get what they called for. just finished my new suspension swap last night. its lookin pretty sweet. enjoy the new ride feeling.
