Has anyone had any luck with the ice attack on there turbo viper.

I like the looks of the track! Any real world experience?

I haven't seen the 1.375" I thought the 1.3 range was the cobra track. I've heard that the 1.22 ice attak XT is very good and that the lug actually stands taller than the 1.25 Slipsaw. The Ice attak XT is said to have stiffer lugs.

It looks like the 1.375 only comes in 137. I'm thinking of selling the new track that comes on my sled and buy this ice attack

Did this track just come out? I see the 1.6 ice cobra and a 1.25 ice attack. I would love a standard cobra with studs built in.

Pretty good debate on Ice Attak 1.375 Vs. 1.22 Ice Attack XT on another brand forum. No matter what, you don't want the Ice Ripper, and some say the 1.5 ice cobra folds over and has so few studs that it isn't worth it. When I was shopping last week TracksUsa had one of the 129 Ice Attack 1.375 in stock ( listed on their used page, last one, closeout price). Some claim the 1.22 XT is best of all for the 129 and thats why the 1.375 was discontinued.

why don't you want an ice ripper. I have two buddies with them and they rave about the track? Ms

Thanks. I was looking on tracks usa. That does look like a good track. Anyone ran one yet? I am thinking about one for mostly trail use on my turbo

I called royal today. They told me I can order a ice attack 1.375x15x137. They will get them in September.

I'm going to give one a try. And sell the ripsaw 2

From what I understand the Ripper is based on Ripsaw 1 lug design, Attack XT is Ripsaw 2. The Camoplast website description of the Ice Attak XT says it offers better traction than the ripper. A google search will bring up the other brand forum with lots of discussions, I think they were being offered a Ripper as part of a spring order incentive or something.

I have the 1.6 Cobra Ice and it rocks. The added traction from the taller lug is awesome and complements the torque of the vipers. It gives it a nice almost two stroke feel out of the corners and during take off. My wife has the ice ripper on her xf7000 and prefers driving my sled because of the better traction.

I would double check that info on the 15" wide ice attack. I recently called around and was told they discontinued the 1.375x15x137 and only will offer that same track in the 16" wide version. My brother has the 16" wide on his renegade and seems to be a nice track. I wanted to swap tracks next year and was searching for the 15" wide but I was told it was discontinued. They will still make the 1.22x15x137...

Ok. Your not the first one to say this. I'm hoping that royal was right.

1.22 doesn't really apeal to me

I had the 1.22 ice attack xt on my apex and it was the best track i ever had and i would be getting it again if i wasn't going to be getting a turbo(the built in studs are enough traction for a NA sled but not for a turboed sled). there is no way you will be able to tell a .1 difference and i personally think that the ice attack would be better off trail then the hacksaw design(but i don't really now i have never tried that track.)
