Is anyone running the 1.450 Megabites on there sled ?? All info. GOOD or BAD would be great!! I aim thinking of changing over to them from my 1.325 studs.. I have 192 installed on Ripsaw... -OR - can i just change the middle 96 to the taller ones for alittle more bite from starting line.?..Do i need any more protection on tunnel ? And maybe take the rest out after adding the 96 bigger studds.. Again - any info. needed !!! :o| :o| I aim just looking for more traction // THANKS

i used them in my first apex. i had a couple pull out on the outsides but other than that they sure bit really good and i put about 2000 miles on the track before i noticed a few pulled out, i then sold the track because i had nitrous on the sled and i got worried about throwing the track out the back of it!

I have not got mine in yet but I am running Woody's 1.450' this year as well. All my research says there is no problem as long as your running the proper track tension. Some guys added 1/8" to the tunnel protectors but other have not and not had a problem. Little nicking on the exhaust heat shield crosser but nothing major. I would change all of them out at once. If your need for traction is on ice, maybe look at the golddiggers. Mega's are nice all around and trail, but the 'diggers eat ice!

Thanks for the info. guys....So far i see nothing to bad...Thanks again !!

1.45 Megabites are what I run with zero issues. Studs still look new and the carbide wear is great.

I run them all in the middle and nothing on the outside belts where all studs seem to pull thru. ;)!

I've run them from the beginning. Great Stud, no pull thru's. After 4000 miles I bought a few more to replace some bent ones (early/late season mass rock riding) Good choice in studs!
