I have to purchase a new track and i'm undecided on the regular Cobra 1.352" and stud it or get the Ice Cobra 1.6". I am running an '06 Attak. What is everyone's advice? Please help snow will soon be here!!!

I had the 1.6 Cobra on my 14 Viper XTX, I really like it and never did stud it so I would think the Ice Cobra would be awesome.

I'm with you on that. I like the traction of studs and loved the Cobra. But the whole ice cobra package with a deeper lug, would be awesome. That and the fact that I would not want to stud a track with lugs bigger than 1.5"

Best of both worlds in my eyes.

Quick question, would it still be advised to put in Stud protection with an Ice Cobra, or is it even possible?

It depends on what sled but I would think it would be smart to protect it and not take a risk.

I was thinking the 1.6" Ice Cobra on an Apex XTX would be awesome. So I suppose a little tunnel protection would be good. That was what kept me from studding my stock track.

I am leaning heavily toward an Ice Cobra for my 14 turbo viper

for what its worth my buddy put a prestudded deep paddle track on his 800RR last year and it really didn't help with braking as it seemed the longer paddles folded over and the studs didn't touch the ground.

I have the 1.6 ice cobra on my 15 ltx dx, perfect blend for on/off trail IMO, 3300 miles , just starting to show some wear.

I've heard a lot of good things about the ice cobra. I just put a 1.22 Ice Attak XT on my apex LTX GT, and I'm either going with that also on the sidewinder or the ice cobra (still undecided). I'm resisting the urge to stud it after I threw a double-stud through my apex front heat exchanger last February. I really don't want to have to deal with that again, or even stress about it like I know I would after I were to get a few thousand miles on the studs.
