1000's

Last I checked, Bombardier had nothing to do with sleds. Unless they bought it back?
The Bombardier family bought the sled division back LB.

Mighty that's what I though too but I didn't post anything because I din't want to get my head chewed off.

I was kind of anticipating that the four major snowmobile manufacturers would each make a sled for most of the popular classes.
Look at the four major motorcycle manufacturers ( excluding H-D ) Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, and Suzuki, all have 600'sand 1000's to compare to and compete with, it would have been nice to see a comparison test between Yamaha, Ski-Doo, Arctic Cat and Polaris if the all had 1000's.
I still like classes designated by CC and not HP
easier to compare.

The trouble with comparing cc's is the huge difference between 2 and 4 strokes. I sure am glad my insurance company doesn't go on cc's alone, or I'd be paying $500.00 a year for my premium!

BRP is mising the U (BURP)
ski doo cut the d out flip it and see the truth (ski poo)
or just add another doo to get ski doo doo

no matter who owns it or sold it or what ever gimic , it still all translates to poop. :moon:

I wish mine was that cheap........

I called here , (in Alaska ) and got a quote for the Premium, full coverage with 250.00 deductible for the 07' Apex Mnt. 1000cc was 712.00 a year, I have a clean driving record and I'm 29 . I thought that wasn't to bad, but wish it was around 500.00 for the year. I went through Geico who doesn't cover sleds but they have another company they are partners with who does this for them, for there companies. The lady I talked with said they have a formula that pro rates the premium for the amount of ridable months in your area ? Does this seem out of ordinary for an insurance premium ? Also the difference in a 250.00 deductible and 500.00 was only a 30.00 difference .

Who is your insurance company? More insurance companies need to understand this as well.

Polaris Edge chassis was the best thing to come from them, My brother had an XCSP 800cc that had some work to it and it really was fast and it really handled. Too bad they went backwards with the Fusion, and next year (2007) doesn't look too optimistic with the Dragon 700cc and the FST750.
Polaris should have looked at their competition and built some sleds comparable to what the other three are building and selling! No excuses, where's the 800, 900, or 1,000???????

MMG. Full coverage on my 03 is about $275.00 a year. They originally quoted something like $550.oo when they heard it was a 1000 cc. I just had to mention 4 stroke, and they knew what I was talking about and about cut it in half. These sleds have been around long enough that every ins. company should know the difference. Of course, 150 hp is gonna get us in trouble too, but it'll take 'em a few more years to figure that out!
