Guys this is why I want that 100mph on snow/trail. It's there. Just need to find it. NosPro and his sons had every intention of helping me go way faster than what I got but Mother Nature put the Kabosh to that. All rivers around here are very dangerous without studs we tried. Spinning out on decel at 50mph convinced me quickly to abandon those plans. So went back to my old spot a mile long unimproved dirt road with no houses on it. Normally is more snow but what the heck. Duponts and extra wheels did the trick. Hitting rev limiter and smelled slides at end but still managed 106mph for instant. Thanks NosPro and sons for coming. Next time 110mph!

This is road.

Wish I could see tach. 9237 on recall. Too high. I would say 9150-9200 would be perfect.

Studroes sorry couldn't put sled through that again and we had a tractor hanging out at shutdown. Was time to leave. Will add more weight to those Magnaforce weights, Try Stingrays airbox and COC setup once we can safely do it again. I can't wait! Cmon snow!

;)!

That guy on the tractor.....didn't know if he was calling the cops or just checking out what we were doing. It was cool when he went past and waived.

Yup, next time COTC setup ;)

That made me crap my pants too, I did that last year dumped the throttle and the back shift locked the track and turned me sideways.

It is good to know it can be done (over 100 mph) but these things sure do lose the grunt once you hit 80+. I am not sure if it is all in the clutching or a combination of the skid bleeding energy ( the track on mine is very hard to turn by hand when elevated). Wind resistance, not sure the taller sled and the hood louvres suspension is not harder to push through the air.

As close as I can tell from the video 0-100 mph took 23 seconds. Its amazing when you watch the Straight line performance video of thier setup on N/A sled is doing it in 13. Last year at 6#'s of boost I was taking about 10 to 12 seconds and could barely break 100. Now at 12#'s with proper clutching, I am sub 7 seconds to 100 (on GPS) and have seen 109 mph with more left but I ran out of underwear cause I was on an ungroomed lake and there were bumps.

I lifted 2 or 3 times to avoid hitting the dirt clumps on side of road. When we get snow will worry about time.

So after all this playing around and once u get it spot on are u gonna drop a turbo in it and start all over? Lol looks to be running good to me. Are u using stock secondary spring or the red one in this vid?

Just looked. Stock pink secondary 3-3 wrap. Shimmed Ulmer K Helix.Your Magnaforce weights and Orange Yellow Orange Primary spring with Dayco XTX5033 belt. Mods are Excell Cold air Intake Kit and Silencer.

Keep in mind I have done 100mph stock under ideal conditions and this same setup was only good for 94 or so in snow on trail.

NO. If I did that I would not be happy till every trail turbo cat I met went down. Dont need that much till those guys arent afraid of holding it tight for a mile or more.

So what are your thoughts as of now? What do u think you'll change if anything to try and squeak more out of it?

Header is at top of list. Trying various versions of Stingrays Airbox. Ulmer is going to tune a PCV igniton for me I hope and if I get the right info may try different cam timing. Trying a bit more weight in your weights and airbox mods this weekend.

Which header are you looking at. My short list would be Hindle and Evolution. I asked Hindle for a price Mid November and am still waiting, Evolution has what I think is the best is designed (I like the bellows and back to stock) but our dollar has crapped out and the Evolution header has gone past a G note.
Has anyone tried the Evolution full meal deal, header, can and reflash. Does it make claimed 30 HP.

Evo header for sure. Probably summer project. I dont believe they have a flash out yet.

Oh all that was supposed to be out in November along with the dyno numbers, but they have seemed to dissappear and I haven't seen any new info on the reflash or any dyno numbers! If you want the hindle header contact Dave at hurricane or shoot him an email he is great to deal with and is in ontario. He will get back to you right away, and he has all the prices on his website.
