I want to go to a 136" track under my apex er, do I have to do an entire suspension swap or can I extend the 121?

When you want to do this by? I would be interested in trading my 136 skid for a 121. Keeping shocks and wheels. Trade everything else.

just remember rear arms in the 136 and 121 are different... 121 have upper wheels on them... 136 has rear cross shaft with wheels. but i'm sure you knew already ;-)

So if I was to just swap suspensions would it bolt right in or would I have to modify anything besides the tunnel extension?

You need the rear idler wheel support bracket rear idler wheels with cross shaft (both support the track behind the rear suspension mount). Tunnel extension, coolant hoses and covers. Also need the rear suspension arms. Go to one of the Yamaha parts micro fiche and compare the parts drawing and numbers. If you are not pic'ed then you will not need cooler protection.
