121" to 144" conversion recommendations

Flat out it's sitting around 10,100 RPM. I had it showing 145 km/hr on the speedo.
I am currently running a stock MTX clutch. The original GT clutch got damaged in an accident which started this whole long track conversion project in the first place.
I was planning on getting a SBR clutch kit, and piecing together the two clutches I have to make a a good one. Living in Canada, I would be looking at about $420 by the time the clutch kit got to my door, plus i would still be looking at new bushings etc to make it all perfect. Also, i will have some clutch tuning ahead of me to get it all to match the long track. For $525, I get a brand new Powerbloc 80 that will be easy to tune.

You should be turning 13200-13500 if memory is right, that's where she makes the most power, dropping your top gear would put you closer, if a 20T is pulling 10000 rpm and seems to be pulling hard then a 19T or 18T would pull harder and would put you closer to that 13200-13500 rpm range, then lighting up your clutch weights would put you in that RPM range, The comfort clutch kit is fine from SBR which is just a lower engagement spring which is nice and better on tight trails and reversing but stay away from the stage 2 kit, I would have stuck with the mtx clutch and saved the money, Phazers tend to over rev at 14000rpm on the limiter which was my case with the Phazer xtx I had, I had many emails to Chris at SBR trying to get his stage 2 clutch kit to work on my xtx, it never did, I just wasted money, in the end I went back to stock gearing and settings and just added weight to my clutches till I got my rpm down to 13200, it worked very well after that.

I expect some messing around with the clutch. Time will tell as it hasn't showed up yet. I am hoping it has enough grunt to keep the 20T top gear, but I do have 19T gear if required. Only one way to find out!

Speedo is way off but I’ve run the 17t 18t and 19t with 8T mtx drivers.
Even with an aftermarket exhaust it needs an Ice road to hit the rev limiter with the 19t (83mph GPS/91 speedo) I’ve settled on the 18t which goes 79GPS (87 on the speedo). A 19 tooth on 9tooth drivers would give you a theoretical 91mph gps (100+ speedo)

note, I’m running the Modern style Secondary which is easy to adjust and a bit more efficient than the stock Phazer secondary.
