Hi all,
I'm leaning towards extending my Fx Nytro to 128" with rail extensions. I've seen that nearly everyone using the skid relocate or rail extensions has left the tunnel length alone. Looking at my 121 track, I see that the lugs are damaged a bit from hitting the tunnel protectors, and there are marks from the lugs behind the tunnel protectors, on the tunnel just ahead of the closeout panel and snowflap.
Has anyone had issues with their 128 coming in contact with the rear of the tunnel?

I've installed a few 128" tracks on Nytros with just rail extensions with no issues. If it's constantly bottoming out then your suspension needs adjusted or you possible have a blown rear shock.

Thanks Grizz. I already machined extensions for my rails, so I'm going ahead with the track swap. Talon c38 128x15x1.5"

Grizztracks installed my 128 Rail Extension with new track. I decided NOT to use a skid relocate kit. I rode a Nytro that had the skid relocate kit installed and I did NOT like how the new ride felt. I have absolutely NO regrets not using a skid relocate kit.

Good info, thanks. I'm on the fence now regarding the track swap. I'm considering parting the whole sled out while I have the engine out to replace two exhaust bolts. A shame because it has so many upgrades, but a SR Viper is on my wish list.
