1340 Roetin Studs

Jon,
The forum has grown too large to keep everything in the Apex section.

You dont keep all your furniture in one room of your house do you?
Even though moving the kitchen into the den by the big screen TV would be a hell of a great idea :drink:

And actually we need to slot more things into the proper catagory not less.
It does or will help redundant posting.

Not just me or the other mods but many many members are constantly directing people to information previously posted.
It would be a relief to be able to say to a stud question, go to the stud section and browse topics and you will find your info.

If we dont do something it could get to the point where people stop helping answer the same old questions. When that happens then it is not the friendly helpful TY that we all like so much.

I am 250-260 with gear on. I did not have the fat boy spring the first few rides but do now. I have been studded the entire time with no issues. I bottomed the stock spring several times which I am sure is where the marks came from. They are barely scratched. Nothing to worry about for sure. FYI, I installed a 1.450 Megabite side by side in a double backer with these 1.340 roetins and the megabite was probably 2-3 mm taller.

I found this on the apex forum just FYI.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I called up some dealers and I'm getting the following things doen before i ride.

Handwarmer update
Idler wheels
Big Boy Spring
Tunnel Reinforcements.

Its about $150 in parts. I'm not sure if im goign to do myself or let someone else do it. I got a quote of $273 for parts and labor which is good but they are 2 hours away. If the dealer near me gives the same ballpark price im goign to let them do it if not im going to do it myself or let this other place do it for me.

Then my sled should be 100% good to go.
