I have about 7500 miles on my 2010 Apex LTX GT and need to do some work to my skid, Replace rails, wheels bearings.... I have found a couple low milage 128 complet skids for sale on ebay. I know the compents are all simular but can I bolt straight in existing holes? just use my Ohlins electronic shock? my 2010 has the mono 2 136". I understand I will need a 128" track. Let me know what you think? Or should I just go with an M10 136?
Thanks
Thanks

I would keep the 136. Contact one of the Advertisers on here. They will have the components you need to rebuild your skid for a reasonable amount of $$.
I replace my rails last season and a few other things with the help of Travis from Barn of Parts ( http://www.barnofparts.com/ ). Good prices and great to work with.

X2 on Travis. he is a great guy and has reasonable prices. Met him at the Excell grass drags this pas fall. Hooked me up with replacement rails, track, bearings, sliders and the bulkhead saver kit. He even had a took kit in the little plastic box I needed.

Couldn't pass up the 128 skid, great price. I am not sure about going back to a 128" although a lot of folks like the apex in the 128" version? Maybe I see if I can extend the rails to 136 ? 144? Options.... or I can use it to upgrade an older sled? Inputs and options would be appreciated !

Bump for more ideas or thoughts?

Why did you have to replace the rails at 7500 miles?

Wasted set of hyfax on frozen (early spring) rock hard set up snow. Caused the front of slides to wear down in the bend. Added larger poo wheels and run the track loose and have had no issues but just would feel better with correct size in rails.
