So im goin to a 136" skid for my nytro and have a few questions.
1) Do i need a tunnel extension? which one to use and down sides without one?
2) What track do you suggest for trails, ditchbanging and a little roads with no studs? I want to be able to slide around corners to. Cobra?
3) Does wheel size affect how it fits with the track? How to get minimal wear with tipped rails?
Thanks!

There is a few posts on this here already, 1) You need the tunnel ext, OFT makes the best kit, and 2) I'd say the Cobra is what you want if going unstudded. I ran the 136" OFT for two years and loved it. ( 1.25 Ripsaw studded ) 3) You'll want the 135mm wheels and an extra set at the rear tip up.

Cobra is a nice track for this area, you may want to consider 1" lug or less if your goal is to slide this sled in corners. Ain't going to happen with a 136" Cobra and high center of gravity of the Nytro.

My phazer did it with a 1in ripsawsso I thought the cobras had less corner grip and the nytro has more power to spin giving me less traction. So I do have to have a tunnel extension? Also on the wheels its going to be a holz skid so i can run them in the stock and new location seeing there all 1 rail and i can only use them on the outside. Am i able to run 9in or is that overkill?

YES, you absolutely without a doubt need a tunnel extension.
Ask holtz about the bogie wheels, and as far as oversized rear axle wheels go, don't waste your time. Oversized wheels won't provide you any performance gain that you'll notice on aa Nytro trail sled. Whatever you run, just make sure there are 4 wheels on your rear axle.
A 136 cobra will spin around corners well without studs. I had one with studs and it slipped around corners better than the 121 ripsaw with studs. Definitely less sideways traction with the cobra in my opinion.

Why do i have to run 4 wheels? Im only able to run them on the outside because the rear arm will hit in the inside. I thought tipped rails were known for hifax wear and the solution was bigger wheels?

I'm only talking about the very rear axle wheels, you want 4 wheels on that rear axle, just for safety.
Tipped up rails aren't known for hyfax wear, Yamaha's rear suspension is known for hyfax wear. But i thought you were running a holtz skid? I don't know anything about that.
