Yes it would require a 4" extension to go from 136 to 144 track length.
Track Extensions & Track = Tracks USA
Tunnel Extension = Hartman Inc
I stretched an Attak to 151" last year using all Hartman Inc components and also installed a narrow Apex Mtn (39") front end and it worked flawlessly for 700 miles in the mountains last season and was a blast to ride! The Hartman tunnel extension is great but I like the Tracks USA style track extensions better myself.

One more thing, will the sock tunnel ext. work? I am looking at it with the rear end of the machine compressed and it looks close. I plan on taking the tunnel protectors out and puting on 8 tooth anti-ratchet drivers. God I wish it would snow!!!!

The hartman tunnel extensions look a lot better than stock - because of the tip up.
And they weigh less. The stock 136 extension from my warrior weighs 2.5 lbs more than the 144" hartman.
Your track would probably catch your flap if you stayed with the stock one.
