136" to 144" do I need to extend tunnel

Hey guys, i have a chance to get a 144 take off and want to put it on my 40th GT LTX, need to know has anybody had rubbing probs doing this?? Ulmer and tracks USA say you dont need to, just the 4" rail extensions? any info would be great!

I did it on my rx1 for a couple years.The only issue was that the track ends at the bumper, but that does not hurt anything it just looks odd.

Ok.... next question... i think i'm going with the tracks USA rails extensions, but they do not have a listing for a 136 tunnel extension to a 144. Dont want to have a tunnel sticking way back and a short looking track!... but just the rails it will look funny... anybody here ever use their product? pro's/con's??

Used them one time on a srx and I will never us them again they bent with in 500 miles. I only us parts from Tom Hartmann. I just seen a set of rail ext in the adds. And you could get the add on tunnel cheap from him.
