If I by a new Nytro and put the rail extensions and 136" track on it will it effect the 3 year warranty? For example: If there was a failure with the motor is Yamaha going to say it was not meant to run a longer track which is putting additional stress on the motor?

Isuppose if a dealer wanted to make an example but I wouldn't think it would matter for a motor problem,if the suspension failed then, yes,I can see the problem.Don't forget, that motor has a 153 attached to it in the MTX .

Its against the LAW to void warranty on one part of a machine due to a modification on an unrelated component. They have to actually demonstrate that the modification has the potential to cause the failure that you're trying to have covered.

LB is right! ... For a dealer to deny warranty, they would have to prove that the modification you did is what caused the failure.
The same holds true for anything that offers a warranty. For example, if you put some big-#*$&@ tires on your brand new truck, then a week later the engine blows. The dealer could only deny you a warranty if they can prove that the bigs tires is what caused the engine to fail.
The dealer may not like it, and give you a hard time about it - but that's how things work.
