I am ordering a 2008 Nytro which comes with a 3 year warranty. My dealer wants to know if I want an additional 2 year warranty making the total 5 years. The cost is $250. I plan to keep the sled 4 or 5 years and the warranty is transferrable if I ever sell it. Do you think I should get it or would it be a waste of money???

$250 is really cheap for 2 more years!
Go for it!

I'd go for it. I paid 480 for 3 extra years so 250 for 2 extra is awsome

buy it even if you decide to sell, the sled's that are under warrenty always bring more, and it goes with the sled not the owner.

I elected to pay $250 and lock in the extra 2 years of warranty coverage.

I enquired about this in Canada. My dealer told me the three year total warrany is max. No five year available through Yamaha Canada. If you go to the yamaha Canada website and try and "estimate payments" three years total is the most you can go. Are you guys sure this is a yamaha warranty? I find third party warranties to not generally be worth the coin.
