Wanted to put a 1.25 studded on my 17XTX but discovered that they dont come in 141" Wondering about a 144" track. Would I have to extend the rails or could I install bigger rear wheels to make up for the slack. Anyone?? Thoughts??

After loosing paddles off of my 03 Rx1 151” Mtn it was suggested to try using a Nitro 153” track. At the same time I installed anti-ratchet drivers and my track adjusters in the rear where enough to compensate. Granted going 2” longer isn’t quite going 5” longer like you are intending however, if you try going with larger rear idler wheels, keep in mind they will also have to be raised in some way to keep the edge of the wheels in line with your slides. Just mounting larger ones in stock positions will be asking for that track to slip off to one side in a corner at some point. Especially the grip of a studded.Wanted to put a 1.25 studded on my 17XTX but discovered that they dont come in 141" Wondering about a 146" track. You will have to change the drivers as the 141 track is 3.00 pitch
