Here you go fellas....
I put the 144 Freeride 1.5" on my 08 RTX....with a 136 Rail Ext and a 3.75" skid setback.
These are the brackets I made for the rear - about 1/4" thick alum.
So far it rides good.....lots more traction on the hardpack.....better traction in the powder......not as much trench.....

What are the advantages of the setback over a conventional 144? Besides looking fawking awesome, of course!

What 136 skid did you start with?

Ruckus.....the setback changes the approach angle so it isn't so steep. makes it trench less in the deeper stuff.
Jeffz.....RTX 121 skid with some wildchild 136 rail extensions.
TSU......sorry dude, called in a favour with a buddy of mine to have them cut out. Its very easy though, I just eyeballed the overall size, had them cut, then carefully measured out the holes.
Thanks for the responses!
