Has anyone extended their Attak to a 144 and put a 1.75" track on? I love the hook up of the ripsaw on hard pack, but dislike the powder performance of it. I live in Saskatchewan and mostly ride off trail.

I researched this quite throughly, all the Mnt shops recommended me to stretch to at least a 151"( minimum). I just decieded if I want a more capable sled in the deep.... just bite the bullet and buy something designed for that type of snow.
my RTX (or whats left of it) is stretched to a 144x1.5. Have not had a chance to get it on the snow though. Certainly looks more aggressive.

just put on a 2 inch 136 camoplast on attak today ,removed tunnel protectors ,put on doo 9 tooth extroverts no clearance issues yet ran on stand. also geared down to 22 top with 68 chain.
should hook hard and ready for turbo or supercharger in future.

If I do that will I need to change my gearing? My rpm's would be too high at high speeds

the bigger track will cause you to lose power, thats why i geared down ,or you could get 8 tooth drivers to gear down for you. you can get these from cycle works in edmonton becsause doo does not make a 252 pitch 8 tooth,

Newfieattak you have 9 tooth drivers in your sled, I did'nt think there was room at the front heat Ex. I am going to streach my attak out to 144"x2" but I was planning on putting 8 tooth driver in. Thanks for the info!!
