153 and 146 skid

Hello. I have a sidewinder 153 mtx skid at the moment. Im planning on going to 146, so could i just change out the rails or is there more to do?

No replies on this? Im looking to go up to 153” from a 146”, i find better track selection at the 141” or 153”, not much selection for paddles at a 146” and the 2.86 drivers

Your best bet is to go to Yamaha parts and compare the two. The chassis are identical.

you could do 141 rails and easy swap. but 146 is completely different skid. you would have to get extensions for 141 rails my guess. find a xtx skid or riot skid complete and bolt in. be way happier
