1800+ On the Gt some ?s

I've been using a product called "More Shine,Less Time" from Stoner. Works great on plastic, no residue. Works good on alum also.

There's a product called 303 that's used in the RV industry for rubber roofs to keep the rubber pliable and shield it from UV rays and oxidation. I buy it by the gallon and use it for everything. Contains no petroleum distillates like armor all which actually dries out the rubber and vinyl. It doesn't turn white, brown, no nothing. It simply keeps a anti static, clean, armor all similar appearance that nothing sticks to.
Consumer reports tested protectants a few years back and 303 was the only stuff tested that actually protected the stuff it was applied to.
Mighty, where do you get this 303 product?

Ipod & sleds = broken parts and stranded riders. You can't hear the sound of the sled when it starts falling apart IMO. TRUE STORY, second ride fo this season a friend brings his son on his rebuilt 600 cat. I see he is using his Ipod and I say, how can you tell if your sled has problems. They all laughed and told me to leave the kid alone. 10 miles later the cat motor is COOKED. He busted the skid and the track rubbed through the rear exchanger and he over heated the motor and it is toast. He never heard a thing and his mind was on the music and not the feel of the sled. A Yamaha towed it to the curb for the rest of the day. IMO no one should ride a sled with tunes as much as I love music it does not belong on the trail. Doug

You make a very good point.

Music is not for Everyone. Some people have a hard enough time just even staying on their side of the trail. Never mind adding something else like music and Thank GOD you can't ride and talk on a cell phone!

With that said, I do very much enjoy the ride with music. I don't crank it so loud that I can't hear the sweet sound of the motor and I am a person that rides by the feel of the Sled. I am the only one in our group that is constantly tweaking things to make them better depending on the conditions. While the others are smoking their cigs I am adjusting or tightening something. That's why I bought the GT. The shock adjustably on the fly is an Awesome feature. I like things like gauges to know what's going on. That's why I am installing a temp gauge. I have over 30,000 miles on sleds and countless hours as a kid riding dirt bikes. I am a professional! LOL!

That guy with the cat.... Do I really don't need to say anything else!!!!
