Hey guys, my father has an old bigbear with no spark. He went to plow last week and nothing. Turns over, but no spark.
I think its the coil, but any suggestions before I replace it?
Thanks!

OK, so I changed the coil yesterday and still no spark. Decided to keep the new coil anyways because the plug wire was getting pretty short.
The kill switch has never functioned since he has had it. Can't move it, must be jammed with dirt or something. Since the kill switch is in the same control as the lights and start button can you disconnect only the kill switch?
If I can eliminate the kill switch, the ignition switch is fairly new and seems to be working, the neutral light comes on OK, should I look at the CDI next? If so, anyone know how to test it or the stator?
Thanks for the help, Mark.

Yes it can be bypassed, but I will tell you without looking at electrical issues can be a bear.
