1994 Kodiak Middle drive shims

I don't have a manual and I am changing the front output seal on the "transfer case", my question is, does anyone have a manual that can tell how to tell what thickness of shims are needed where the transfer case bolts to the crankcase.........the parts manual shows multiple different thicknesses...................the shims in their are all broken and someone has silconed the heck out if. Any info, or a link to a manual would be great.

I would measure the thickness off the shim(s) with a micrometer and replace them with the same thickness. you might be able to find identification marking on the shims.
