Talked to the lead yamaha rep at the milwaukee snow show last night and asked if they are going to have a new chassis for next year and he said yes. 2 actually they will be combining models of sleds with 2 chassis to save money on engineering. We will have to wait and see what is next, but at least something new is on the horizon. :yam:

I can see the Phazer and Nytro chassis' being combined.

I can see a smaller two cylinder 4 stroke with a supercharger for the 600 class.

I'd buy a supercharged phazer type sled. That would be fun!

Vectornut, if you had said four cylinder two stroke I would be all over that.

LOL,There is no one from Yamaha that knows that would let that info out!

From what i been hearing in the rumor mill this seems very possible.30 to 40 pound weight savings along with a 100hp model would be sweet :jump: .Lets hope for a teaser pic before christmas just like the rear end of the phazer in Dec 2005.

Here we go...lol. I am due for a new sled for the 2014 model year. Hopefully they have something in the 150 hp range thats not any heavier then 525 pounds....

I hope its not just a warmed over delta box revision and them putting the phazer motor In the nytro chassis and dropping the phazer chassis...... That's what I will predict though.

Knowing Yamaha's track record, it will be far from revolutionary, just evolutionary. Basically, they will come out with a product that will barely keep up with the other OEMs, just with better build quality.

If they don't come out with a Nypex I will build my own.

We may see something like this.
