I bought a used 2006 Apex Mtn 2" riser. It was setting off the TORS if I turned to tight. Is this normal? It's off for now.

Thxs.

i put a set of 2" rox on my apex and it did the same thing, so i got in there where all the cables and wires go in below the dash and moved them around and tried to re-route some and l pulled some out from that cable keeper below the chrome ring, i think i took that ring off. if it came down to it you could also take away part of the dash where the cable hit to free up some tension. these are some of the things that i did i have no problems now.

hope that helps

Unhook TORS, its useless.

Personally, i unhooked it and never thought twice about it. Put a tether on and be done with it.

i still think it is important to get in there and loosen things up if your going to have a 2" riser so wires cables and brake lines dont get bound up or break, at one point i turned my handlebars and it accelerated my sled. everything on mine works great now including my T.O.R.S (20 minute fix)

I have 2" Rox riser that I just threw on my machine. Found I had to do some fiddeling around with how I set the handel bars to release tension on throttle cabel. When you find setting you like fire up machine with hand close to kill switch, turn bars from side to side make sure rpm's don't change. Also found if any tension in throttle it will show when machine is turned off try to hold all the way to the bar. If you cannot still tension in the line.

I did the same thing ya have to Fidel with bar placement and route cables the shortest way. but if it wasn't possible to get it where ya want it purchase a longer cable it way worth the benefits ;)!
