Also I was going thru the bearings while it was apart and the lower chaincase bearing has the metal band that holds the rollers in place is broken and a few pieces had fallen out.Luckily its the same bearings I use for the polaris Idler wheels and I have some new ones for spares(6205).This bearing is sealed to the chain case but open to the other side.

Pretty much bolted on.I had originally mounted it on without cutting the tank cover but it had a little gap at the front of the seat,so then I trimmed the tank cover and it fits real nice now.Storage is a plus too.

The seat is off of apex mountain. The wiring is different because apex mountain doesnt have the light in the seat even the connectors are different.Had to pretty much disasemble the whole seat to get my wiring routed into it but i think somone said the nytro seat has the correct wiring harness. No blue nytro seat though.Everything in the back of seat bolted right up like factory.

Also the mountain seat has the firmer foam like the nytro.Apex 121" and attack have a softer foam.

Didn't realize the foam was different. Have the same seat mounted to an '03 RX1 MT. Love the trunk. Also trimmed the tank cowling about an inch. Ran the wiring along the top of tunnel, and over the heat shield with a little extra heat shielding underneath it. So far so good.

Your sled should go at least a lot better through the pow with that track

The more I see these conversions, the more I want to install an Apex/Nitro seat on my RX-1.....

Is that track the challanger 9842M which is pre-notched for polaris and artic cat sleds? If so do the notches match up well with the tunnel protectors? You mentioned wanting to take off 0.1" to help. You are also running it without changing drivers? Let me know how it works. I might want to get the same set up.

Yes its a chalenger track .I bought it used it was prenotched and the notches line up perfecly to tunnel protectors allthough in the picture it looks like they dont line up.Im using original drivers also.Thier is plenty of room for the lugs ,the only thing thats close is the notched part.

I was going to notch them a little more but the end nippers I ordered didnt show up.Were leaving next friday Ill let you know how it works out.

Update the track setup worked awsome out west I made up a tool before I left that nipped off a little more on the notched part of track. The only negative thing was it was kind of a pain getting the drives back out when I switched back to the 1.25" track that I run in michigan.heres a link to some pictures and tips on jetting if your heading out west.
