2" track on short track nytro?

anyone install a 2" track on a shor track nytro as of now? got one on the way for a buddy and im thinking i may have to drop down to 8 tooth drivers to fit the track.

yeah lol...... for sure i have a 2" challebger track on my rtx i had to cut out the tunnel protectors and went down a size in my drivers and added avid 8 tooth turbo drivers and there is lots of room in the front by the heat exchangers for clearance!

so if you remove the guards is there enough room? i have a 2" challenger on the way for the nytro also and would love to use the stock drivers if possible.

yeah i dont see why not lol.... but the gaurds on the front exchanger you should leave the weld or as much of the weld as you can so you dont damage the ribs.... i have about 3/4 of an inch of room on mine right now! and let me tell you you will not be dissapoined with that track!!!

well i dont know if this will help you. in your qwest to getting a 2inch track in there But i have a 136 1.5 and it barely fits

i gonna install a 1,5 lug intense. do you really need to remove any of the guards? somone told me that it doesnt work whitout removing the front guards but my yamahadealer say it isnt nessesary?

i didnt have anything taken out with an 1.5 track it works just fine i have 300 miles on it

i have a ripsaw it works well. i think it works well for hill climbing I havnt tried any other tracks and my viper just has a stock track.
