What a great weekend for the 2 Thunder Products Clutching sleds we raced!
Friday night, the Thunder Products Clutching Polaris 850 driven by Troy Meier and tuned by Tim Hank, won the gamblers race!
Also, Friday night, Andrew Burmeister went to the semi-finals with a Sidewinder to place a well deserved 3rd place! Andrew set up this sled himself and is his first time racing the sled!
Saturday, I drove the same Sidewinder in the MSADRA Memorial race... winning the bracket series race!
Both sleds were awesome on reaction times to the tree and running right on the number each round
So many came to our trailer asking how our sleds run such fast and consistent numbers.... We tell them, "the key to good clutching is to keep the clutches cool.... Cool clutch temps equals excellent belt grip and parts that will last!"
Needless to say, out of the 4 bracket classes that were run Friday & Saturday, 2 out of the 3 podium finishes in each class were racers with Thunder Products Clutching!
Some winner spotlights will be appearing soon to let them say how much they love their clutching!

Not yet,Cool! Did you run that header yet?
Clutches have been coming in regularly now and trying to catch up on other things have kept it on the low key. It's right next to the sled, I should just take a day and get it on it.

Speaking of cool clutches. Any vents used on clutch side? Can't tell in pics.

What does TP consider "cool?" I noticed you state keeping clutches cool. That means keeping belt cool too. I have an IR belt temp gage so I'm wondering what temps I should see on belt IF clutches are "cool?" How much difference is there for 290HP trail sled compared to the SW run in drag racing application as far as clutch temps? What a great weekend for the 2 Thunder Products Clutching sleds we raced!
