Just wondering how much top end loss people are seeing on their XTX when you install a 20 tooth top gear in combination with a backcountry track?
Also... How much bottom / mid range gain are you gaining?
All this is based on using stock clutching with just the gear change.
I have stock gearing and I can hit 99 to 100 mph on the lake with my backcountry track. i also have a 20 tooth gear and am trying to decide if I should bother installing it for a ride comming up soon.

I get 100mph on the speedo everyday with my Backcountry and the 20 tooth on my shorty. This is on an icy road and it stay there until i left the throttle.
I just did a 2" challenger with a 20T top gear. I have not had a chance to open it up yet, But it does pull way better out of the hole.

Stock clutching, 20 tooth and 144 backcountry and the best I have seen is 95-96. Most of the time is is 91-92 mph. Both topends have been at 9100 rpm.
It pulls really good down low and through the mids. Much better then stock. I have a video on youtube of this setup beating a 800r xp on the lake. The XP still tops out higher at about 100 though if given enough room but the nytro just pulls all the way to 90.
I would like to get back to 100-105 mph just to be able to keep up with everyone else though.
