Hello,
We are the original owners of a 2005 RS Vector. It has lead a very gentle life, mom/Grandma driven 3,500 miles. This year, upon changing the oil, I noticed that the rear end is sagging to the bottom. Lift it up, drop right down. A springs or shock issue? Thanks in advance!

sounds like the shocks need to be serviced.

No dolly, on wheel casters. Feels like the springs or shock are kaput.

If the skis and/or track is up off the ground with wheels/dollies this will happen.
The rear shock on a '05 Vec with a Pro-Active rear suspension is not serviceable. Look for the rear shock out of an RS Nytro or 07-09 Apex RTX if you want something you can re-build/re-valve.

We've always kept our sleds with a wheel dolly under each ski, and one under the track. Is this s foul?

Not foul at all. Just leads to the rear skid playing tricks on you until the sled is back on the level. Take it off the dollies and I bet your rear end reacts the way you expect it to.
