Might be a crack. Does it come through on the other side? If your sled is under warranty, bring the sheaves in and get them to look at it and replace it.
If it isn't under warranty, perhaps take a marker and trace the crack. Then take your sled out for a rip and take a look if the cracks have gotten any longer or worse.

It goes all the way through, but because of the way it assembles to the other side, I wasn't sure it would matter. Being that it bolt to the side that mounts to the sled in 4 places.
It hasn't reached the center yet so there is at least 1/4" of good metal.

From working with aluminum, it looks like an injection mold mark. I cannot be sure cause I don't have it in my hands, but you can bring to any engine builder, and ask them to spray penetrant and developer on that area. If it shows up then, you have proof, and can claim it on warranty with your local dealer.
I cant say for sure, but I have seen a lot of secondays that look similar to that. Including my 05 RX-1...

Cracked sheave
If the crack were to progress into the sheave, I might start to worry. Until then, run er!!
