I have a 2006 attak that had a low battery when took it out of storage.Charged it up and doesnt want to start until the battery is almost dead.(ran good when stored) It will turn over fast for a long time then tries to start missing and popping when it finely starts it runs good i can shut it off and fire it right up again with no problems. let it sit a while and starts hard again. I get a code 12 (crank sensor) put a meter on crank sensor wires at 545. any other ideas would help
A weak battery will turn a engine over allowing a no to slow hard starting condition. How many miles on sled? The grounding blocks in the wire harness can cause a lot of issues. My grounds have all been soldered together. Have you started up your sled and shut off a lot waiting and dreaming about snow? These plugs/engines seem not to like this if not warmed up correctly. I did that first year I owed my sled then ended up changing the plugs because it no longer started. These are some things to think about and go from there it could be a deeper issue. Hope that this gives you a starting point.
