buy a new axel and have new drivers installed and put it in this summer. throw the origional behind the truck seat when you do a trip for a spare.

Im in the same Boat as the OP ( im doing track, 121-144, yadda yadda. And yes replace your D shaft mine broke 20 miles after I did a Yamaha "tune up" and yes I had the proper weight hanging off my track when I tightened it up and I left it on the loose side of what Yamaha said. Its cheap insurance. It will really ruin a ride and the week to come, when you bust a D shaft.

yep doing an ulmer oilite bushing install also. But somewhere between the H bars and the rack I have about a 1/4" of slop.....
