2006 apex no go er1 engine code

hi i have a 2006 apex was out for last trip when 30 miles in it shut down and wouldnt restart it has power and willl crank but wont start flashes code er1 never heard of it anyone have any ideas

ECU on the fritz? Check the ECU connections.

Any other codes showing up?

Likely another code there for speedo sensor issue and or TORS.

Disconnect the speedo sensor and TOR's one at a time and see if it will start.

Had the same issue a month ago on my former 06 Apex GT. Ended up being driveshaft bearing was on its way out which messed up the speedo sensor.
