Just picked up my Apex turbo sled this weekend. It has a boondocker gt 25 on it. Seems a little loud, Anyone make a quiter exhaust for a front mount turbo? Doesn't appear you can get to the tunnel. Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the site midwestboat. Please fill in your location in your profile, site rules :)

Please tell us as much as you can about your turbo kit and setup, and you will get the help you need.
Is this a boondocker side mount, or a front mount?

This is a boondocker GT25 front mount, Its next to the brake caliper on the right hand side of the engine.

humm thats more then a tough one. I don't think or I haven't seen anyone doing a muffler on that kit.

OK - it's a Boondocker sidemount then :) Does it dump the exhaust straight down from the turbo?

Sorry, I can't help, haven't seen one myself.

Anyone with a boondocker side mount please chime in to help midwestboat out on this one.

I'm pretty sure your exhaust is a straight dump down and out the bellypan. I don't know of anyone making an exhaust for your kit, but you could make your own (or have it made) quite easily. Any good performance muffler shop in your area can order you a universal glass-pack muffler. Figure out what diameter and length your install can accomodate and order accordingly. Section your downpipe and have the new piece welded in.

A guy i know modified a super trap muffler to go off the turbo with the rings to adjust noise of the engine.
