2006 Jan Presque Isle WI Area

Why doesn’t someone pick a place, time (window) and date to meet and whoever shows up, shows up. I personally would like to meet you guys but with the whole family going on this trip I have no idea what my schedule will be like. 8)

Presque Isle was awesome, as we rode Jan. 26th - 27th, and had great trails, but with the temps in the 50's, it went to crap fast.

Swisse - If you have the pics and videos, let me know.

Went a little more north to join Tom, and the Rubbish Run guys, and saw an Apex and rider first hand, right next to me, take a tumble on a small lake at 128 on the speedo. GT was definetly done for. Rider walked away with only bruises.

Another member, who is his brother in law, was slowing down, and turning at the same time in the path of the oncoming sled. Both sleds were not picked, and once the ski tip caught the side of the track of the 1st sled in front, the 2nd sled slid sideways, and the rest was shrapnal. 1st sled never felt anyhting, it was just a light tap, but enough to send the sled sideways, and start tumbling. Some pictures will be posted soon by other members that were there. I didn't have my camera, but saw enough. Happened 10 feet away from me. He was standing about 20 ft. from me when I finnaly got mine stopped. That's how far he rolled or flew.

Hey Nos Pro,
talked to the father in law, 5+ inches from Saturday afternoon thru Sunday, and another 5 on Monday. It is back to normal wintertime again up there.
Hope you had a good time bro :D

Got the pictures and will be e-mailing to your work address today. The video of the water skipping is over 25MB so I will be mailing out CD's. The video is pretty cool. Tork on the left, Nos-Pro in the middle, Bluedog on the right.
