In 2007, my chain case started leaking. Actually, it ran dry but I caught it before it came apart. New bearings, seals and cover gasket were covered under warranty. (An infusion of 2-stroke oil got me home). The dealer also installed a vent line to eliminate any chance of a pressure buildup.
In 2008, it started leaking again. A search on this site turned up the fix, install the redesigned 2008 vector cover and gasket. Parts were covered under warranty.
Last weekend, we did a 640 mile trip and my chain case started leaking again. Not bad this time, I lost maybe a tablespoon. Anyone else having this problem? Any suggested fixes? I may just take it apart and seal it up with a liquid gasket
