2007 Apex engine light comes on and off

My 2007 apex runs fine for 20 minutes and then the engine light will come on and the engine will surge down to idle, the light flashes 12-17 times and then goes out and it runs fine for another 20 minutes. It seems to do it mostly once you let off the throttle. It does not seem to be showing any fault codes either.

Does an icon show ? fuel pump, temperature , engine ?
