Is there a simple solution and or a way to fix this

When I start my machine at -20 I have to restart it three or four times it fires and dies.

Once warmed up and cruising on the trail intermittently the idol will drop in the engine will die but it will always restart.

My machine has 8000 miles on it

I have checked the throttle position sensor and it appears to be working correctly according to the throttle position on the dash I have 16-96% throttle.

I cleaned the iac valve.

The spark plugs could be changed I am not sure how old they are.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

For start up try turning key to activate fuel pump 3 times, seems to work well. Make sure the gas is not old, maybe change the plugs but should be ok maybe you just aren't riding hard enough and getting the engine nice and hot after initial warm up.

I had an issue similar to yours (idle issue/stalling out on the trail) with my tps but was struggeling to recreate it when testing it. Basically my tps would only act up when hot. Once the motor reached a good hot temp the tps would act up.
I ended up testing the tps while holding a hair dryer on it and sure enough it would read incorrect.
Not saying this is what your issue is, but its worth a try

As far as stalling on a cold start up. Mine does it too. Never really found the cure. Seems to be pretty common.
I have read about syncing the throttle bodies or cleaning the air idle control valve but it really never happens enough to cause me to dig deeper into it

Greatly appreciate your help guys. It isn't dying on the trail any more I think the belt just needed to be worn in It was a new belt? Old gas maybe? And I cleaned the iac valve? I can not confirm which one as I did all 3 at once.
Damn this thing goes! Love it.
But I gotta try fix that cold start thing. It bothers me. Lol.
