Hello

I just wanted to ask a general question...

Did most 07 Apexs come with 100% pure antifreeze because the factory didn't do a proper mix..?

Also did most Apexs need to have the throttle cables adjusted during PDI
to correct for TORS..?

Thanks

Yes on first question - at least mine was. Now my wifes 08 Apex never has had the issues I did. So maybe they caught it.

Not sure on the second one.

I know my 06 has an awful high concentration of antifreeze but I've only had the temp light come on once in 2000 miles, and that was after riding on HARD snow at high speeds, and only after I shut the sled off and started back up did the light come on. Have had the fan come on a couple of times. My tester only goes to -43F and my antifreeze reads good well above (or below) that number.

I took out 2 liters and added 2 liters of water, still reads good to -43c. I don't think the torrs gets adj. , Does the sled come with bars off in the crate. I adj. mine in a warm garage (65f) and started it up and turned the bars full left and right, no problem. When out next day (0f) and when turning full left the tors would kick in. Stop and restart and only turn right, damn it took a long time to get home. lol I added a temp guage and she takes a long time to warm up BUT once she is warm it takes no more then a minute to go from 150f to having the fan kick in. Not like the old 2 strokes that you can idle while relieving yourself at the side of the trail.
