I had my drive shaft and cogs replaced last month and on my first trip this past weekend I noticed my mode button will not go to the shock adjustment mode. When I first start the sled the shock mode flashes on for a moment showing the setting at 1 above half way then it reverts to the grip temp mode. everything looks like its plugged in. Any ideas? -30 in st zenon qc this past weekend!
Check the wiring harness connector at the shock and also at the other end which is up by the reverse lever. Check the harness for chafed wires especially where it could rub on the front suspension or tunnel.
Did you check the EC fuse? If it is blown you probably have a shorted wire somewhere. If it is not blown it could still be an open circuit from a broken wire or loose connection.
Mine does it when it gets wet because I dont have it water tight. I will, however, pull it apart and shrink tape it. I think that'll solve the problem.
