hi there my 07 phazer gt makes a thud vibration thru the whole sled when going over 40 mph

Try a different belt

okay will do and i was riding it around the yard and i parked it and started going and it was acting like the brake was applied and had a hard belt engagement

Maybe check if the brake caliper is sticking?
